High Powered Liquid Quenches

Benchmark Z-1193 is a liquid material especially formulated to prevent corrosion and discoloration in a quench pit-tank operation. It is a clear blue liquid which is completely soluble in water.

Benchmark Z-1193 will leave a thin protective film on zinc and aluminum-base die castings when used in quenching and cooling operations.

Benchmark Z-1193 is suitable for use on all metal surfaces that are easily oxidized. It will prevent corrosion, has no offensive odor, and is easy to handle.

Benchmark Z-1193 aids in the removal of die lubes, helps the parts retain original as-cast surface, and leaves a part that is easy to buff, even after prolonged storage.

Benchmark Z-1193 does not contain thereby eliminating the need for oil treatment prior to waste treatment and/or disposal.
