Water-soluble Drawing Oil

Benchmark D-354 is an oil type, non-pigmented, water-soluble drawing and forming lubricant of high viscosity.

Benchmark D-354 possesses extreme pressure lubricating properties and high film strength.

Benchmark D-354 is recommended for drawing or forming steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

Benchmark D-354 has been used on difficult automotive stampings, such as, chassis parts, body sections, oil pans, oil and air filter housings, truck bumpers and bumper guards. Other applications include metal furniture parts, household appliances and aluminum cookware.

Benchmark D-354 may be applied to the work by brushing or roller coating.

Benchmark D-354 will not corrode or stain steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper or brass when used straight or when cut with oil, solvent or water.

Benchmark D-354 is readily removed by alkaline cleaners, solvent emulsions or vapor degreasing.

Stamping and Drawing Lubricant

Benchmark DO-230 is a water-dispersible, synthetic-type lubricant developed as a stamping or drawing lubricant, roll forming lubricant, polishing or grinding lubricant for steel and other miscellaneous applications.

Benchmark DO-230 can be used on non-ferrous metals as well as ferrous metals.

Benchmark DO-230 has excellent in-plant rust proofing properties on all ferrous metals and does not interfere with welding operations.

Benchmark DO-230 does not form metallic soaps that tend to plug lubricant recirculating systems on high speed presses or polishing, grinding systems and keeps equipment much cleaner than conventional lubricants.

Benchmark DO-230 is easily removed in most aqueous cleaning solutions.
