Additive For Activating Nickel Prior to Chrome

Benchmark B-1066 is a liquid composed of surfactants, inhibitors, and activating agents. When used in conjunction with sulfuric acid it is an excellent nickel activator prior to chrome plating.

Benchmark B-1066 can be used on aged nickel, nickel replates, and buffed nickel prior to chrome plating. It is also an excellent solvent for nickel oxides that may form on parts.

Benchmark B-1066 eliminates the cause of "white spots" encountered with the use of potassium iodide and it will form a protective film after activation.
